From decades as a journalist to a photographer of people, places and events.
I began reporting news back in 1979 and worked in radio and online journalism for decades. In 2011 I began MyEverettNews.com, a daily website covering news and events in Everett, Washington retiring at the end of 2023. A couple years prior to retiring I began taking occasional photos for friends gaining experience in personal branding, portraits and events. On April 11, 2025, I received Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin's "Artist Making an Impact" award for 2024 during the 31st Annual Wendt & Mayor's Arts Awards held at the Everett Performing Arts Center. I am truly honored.
